“The aqua Joy Barth lift is easy to use but put it in the bath. Run the bath. Sit on it. Allow yourself down when finished the higher self up. Then recharge the battery pack. It can't be more simpler than that without it. I won't be aware of a bath.”

“Cannot be positive enough about how life changing this chair has been for me. Having bought a massive bath a few years ago and finding myself unable to use it a couple of years later, after my arthritis got so bad I was unable to lift myself out, I bit the bullet and bought this bath lift. I'm a big girl and so went with the heavy duty, purely so I felt calm and confident it would lift me up after a soak. It has been such a blessing! I'm only 50 and dithered about purchasing one for far too long - I wish I'd done it years ago. The seats are plenty big enough and you don't need the covers. It would easily fit in a standard bath, but is perfect in my huge one. The mechanism is so smooth too and rises to slightly above the lip of the bath - plenty high enough if you have trouble bending your knees like me. It comes in two parts, which fit together easily and it suctions to the bottom of the bath. The only (slight) negative is it is quite heavy to lift in and out, but not so much I'd send it back - I just take my time or ask the children to do it haha!! If it's for an older person on their own who would need to move it then it probably isn't suitable. I have NO regrets whatsoever about my purchase - other than I wish I'd done it before - and I highly recommend this model.”
