“Bought this in June 2023 and was absolutely delighted with it. Very substantial, doesn’t blow off in a gale and I live on the North Yorkshire coast, we get hammered. The clips secure the cover in place. The heavy duty nylon material great protection for my Rascal 388XL which stands outside in all weathers. However, what I’ve discovered is that sunlight destroys the integrity of the material which has both faded and the seams perished. Went to lift it off and a whole seam gave way and just tore apart. The cover is in use daily and goes over thr scooter after every trip. Those trips being short in distance as I use the scooter to walk my dog. I would have hoped it would have been more durable, I can only assume sunshine is affecting the material?? I will be replacing it with another of the same make because of it’s ability to withstand wind, rain and snow but fully expect that it will need to be replaced later spring early summer.”
