By autumn 2002 MG Rover had instigated a cost saving program entitled 'Project Drive', which saw the deletion of various small, previously standard components from their models. This included removal of the second horn from the MGTF (typically the low note YEB100780) thereby reducing the overall effectiveness in warning other road users of your presence. Thankfully MG Rover reversed Project Drive towards the end of 2004. MGOC Spares is holding stocks of original factory dual horn conversion harnesses (YMQ003070). With reproduction low (YEB100780) or high (YEB100770) note horns (please check your vehicle to confirm which tone is required before ordering) and fixings screw (DCP5044).
