Works great with Dr. Jeremy Steiner's pointoselect EAM special edition. I ordered a few extra resistors to make the estim-experience even smoother for my patients. Customer Service was as helpful as always and even provided a discount code. Wonderful company and service!

Hi everyone. Giving a review for an Inline Resistor is a little crazy, but in the context I am giving it it is not. So: I am a lucky owner of 2 EAM units now... each came with one dampener/resistor. BUUUT: I already had a few Avazzia units here too and remember Doc J. Steiner stating to be good units with proper Voltage too... so I felt like wanting to make use of those too. As we know: without a dampener clipping those to needles is torture already at the lowest setting. Now: Avazzia has their own dampener (I believe at 15 Ohm compared to the 30 of Miridias). So I bought a few of those to figure out that the fit the same plug as Avazzias electrode/ten cables. This made no sense at all. Avazzia wasn't really that helpful finally just stating they having no cables for tens pads/acupuncture clips that fit in the resistor. So I looked myself for Tensables fitting the dampener of Avazzia... I bought a few from different companies but clipping them to needs I place on myself it just didn't compare nearly to the EAM unit quality output and thereby feeling of electricity at the needle(s). I thought: well. Why not try the Miridia Resistor instead and with the cables of the Avazzia devices ?... well: it's not to believe but it must be by a slight micromillimetre that the Mirida Dampener doesn't fit to the Avazzia cable ends. It just slips too easily back and forth. Jenni over at Miridia was helpful as always... and I finally found an extension cable here in Germany that hooks properly to the regular output cables of the Avazzia devices and then on the other end to the Miridia Resistor securely too. So: NOW I can make use of my old Avazzia devices too with a quality output - isn't that awesome? I'd suggest: if you get an EAM unit add a 2nd Dampener anyhow for just in case :-)
