“I ordered two cockerels just wanting one to breed but I got two just in case. One was male and the other female, nice free upgrade. Both are now beautiful adults and I can't believe how blue my girl's eggs are.”
“This is a gorgeous bird! She is about 2 1/2 months old now and wow, what a great addition to my flock. She is a light grey color with flecks of black ‚Äúsplashed‚Äù in. Her eyes are even two colors! Each eye is two different shades of honey brown. She is very friendly and curious about anything happening in the coop or their enclosure. She has a very sweet face. Not sure what color her eggs will be, but at this point it doesn‚Äôt matter, because her temperament is priceless. If they weren‚Äôt so expensive I‚Äôd have lots of these birds. She has already had flattering comments made about her by family and friends. My Pet Chicken gets an A++ on this one!!”
“I received my 1 BBS Ameraucana, 2 Welsummers, and 1 Black Australorp on August 1 - within 24 hours of their hatching. All were perky and healthy and right away took to my broody Australorp hen when I put them under her wings that night.
Now they are 9 weeks old, still as perky and healthy as can be and growing quickly into 3 most beautiful hens and 1 blue Ameraucana roo. The Ameraucana is cute as a button - still a round ball of fluff and feathers. He is only half the size of the others since the Ameraucana breed develops more slowly, but has already asserted his authority over them. He is the friendliest and boldest of the four so far and eats treats out of my hand.
This is my first chick purchase from My Pet Chicken and I am very pleased. I love the fact that I could order only 4. Thank you MPC!”
“It is a miracle but 4 beautiful Ameraucana chicks just arrived today and they are doing great!! How MyPetChicken can get such a little bundle to us safely, I'll never know but THANKS!!! We are so happy!!”
“After ordering and then waiting 3.5 months for availibility to link my three breeds (six chicks), I got a call last moment from My Pet Chicken telling me the Columbian Wyandottes were not ready, in fact none would be ready, I was told, looking ahead at availibility. Uhm. I accepted delivery of my two Barnevelders and two Buckeyes and added two expensive Blue Amaraucanas. One Barnevelder was DOA and a Buckeye died the first night. Four have survived one month. Yes, the Barnevelders is maturing slower than the others, I knew that, but she is the friendliest and happiest. The Buckeye is large with attractive feather color but she has a bald red head. Visitors are first to comment about the Buckeye, "...what the heck is that?", they ask. The Blues are flighty with coloring that is difficult to call attractive. I hope their beauty improves.”
