“Heat plate was FAR too hot. I wasn't even able to touch my bare hand to it. Dangerously hot for chicks.
I was unfortunately unable to return it and tried reaching out to the company multiple times. Ultimately I ended up purchasing a safer heat plate.”

“This device is a total game changer for brooding chicks. It's safe and energy efficient unlike the high-wattage heat bulbs we used years ago. The height is easy to adjust. The only thing I did to it for my set-up was to temporarily affix an old metal funnel with a few bits of velcro to the top so they don't try to roost on it. Great item!”
“I don't have the baby chicks yet, but I did plug the warmer in to make sure it works. I just love the way I can adjust the height, and even have one end higher than the other to accomodate the different breed sizes of the chicks I ordered.”
