Cozy Coop Heater Reviews

This little heater works great! It is great quality. However , I do wish there was a adjustment to where it would lay horizontally, and not just vertically. So that it would work for baby chicks too. It would be nice so that they could get underneath it like a brooder plate not just stand beside the warming plate. It worked great for my two week old chicks but not sure how well it would heat with day old chicks.

Fits nicely in my duck coop. Seems to work well.

Best price to be found and absolutely love these compared to dangerous heat lamps! We have purchased 6 of these and customer service has been wonderful! One arrived with a broken leg (PO damage) and they quickly replaced it. Highly recommend!

Love it!! Gave us peace of mind for our young chicks and didn’t have to worry with it catching on fire! I would highly recommend for day old chicks up to fully feathered when it drops below freezing.

These are advertised as safer, and the price is low; however, we have personally had very poor experience using these in our coop. Today I found the plug sheared off from the cord! I have hens, not piranha fish. My experience with the Sweeter Heater has been superb by contrast. I will replace the failed Cozy Coops with additional Sweeter Heaters. Customer service at My Pet Chicken is excellent. The last thing you want is a failed heater when it is bitter cold outside. FYI the manufacturer had no interest in looking at the failed heaters to learn from the problem.

They arrived quickly and worked great for young birds during these cold snaps. I mounted 2 behind the perches and it keeps them warm but not to warm

8 chicks cozy up like a pack of puppies next to this thing and I'm not worried about burning my house down with a heat lamp. I attached mine to the side of the brooder so none of the girls could roost and poop on it. Double thumbs up!

Bird likes it , keep it close to watering bowl and it prevents it from freezing. It is quite hot to the touch but won’t burn you.
