“The heater keeps our 3 bird, 4ft x 8ft chicken house about 40 degrees F with the doors closed at night. That said we are in a maritine climate with winter temps rarely below freezing. I am not sure the heater would be adiquate for a much larger house or in an area where nightime temps were well below 30 F. However, the fire hazard with this heater is very low. We are happy with the purchase.”
