Cozy Coop Heater Reviews

4.7 Rating 436 Reviews
We got this bc of the high star rating and bc this site doesn’t recommend a heat lamp. We have chicks in garage that is 70-80 degrees all the time. This heater can barely keep the boxed area (4 of the cardboard panels from this site) at 98 degrees even with the box half covered. I’m not sure how we are going to keep them warm once I need to use more panels and make their area bigger. If you tried to use 10 panels like they give you, there’s no way it would keep half of the space warm enough. I recommend another option. This is too tough to keep warm.

Very safe, put out a good amount of heat, and stable. Chicks did great with it and I get a lot easier vs. when we had a traditional heat lamp.

We are using this in the summer for our new brood of chooks. We only keep it at half power because that is enough- I'd assume we'd need to kick it up to full if it were later in the season. Works well! And it's good to know how safe it is.
