“I am so impressed by this heater. It fits great in my coop and every morning my ladies tell me how warm and cozy they were all night. I plugged it into a socket that is controlled by a remote. We monitor the temperature in the coop from inside the house and when the temp drops, I press the remote and my Cozy Coop does the rest. Love it! Thank you!”
“Started out with the infrared clamp on lamp purchased at our local feed store. Was fine for the first week with our baby chicks. After that they started sleeping away from it and was impossible to control the temp. We also didn‚Äôt like the safety hazard with the infrared; hot glowing torch hovering over pine shavings and our baby chicks; fire disaster waiting to happpen. This new heater works great. The chicks can sleep right next to it and get to self regulate their comfort better than the heat lamp. Safe to use as well with the support legs keeping the heater upright. We‚Äôve have it sitting on their pine shavings and no worry about starting a fire. Good product. Start here and forgot the heat lamp.”
“We bought the Cozy Coop for our brooder after seeing it recommended here. I was so nervous that it wouldn‚Äôt keep our baby chicks warm enough, but I‚Äôm glad we gave it a try! Our chicks are happy and healthy ‚Äî they love it! And i love it because I don‚Äôt have to worry about fires! Highly recommend!”
“I had been using a light on my chicks and this heater made me feel safer, like the house wouldn't burn down. I bought it, though, mostly to keep chickens warm in winter's below zero weather. How well it works for that I don't know yet but I really like how this heater is built and think it will really do a great job.”
“Our fifteen chicks are four weeks old now and this heater worked well for them. Their brooder is in our basement which is a little cooler then the rest of the house. The first week we had it on high and then on low ever since. Now they like to perch on it, but take turns since only about five of them can fit on it at a time. It is safe and doesn't take much electricity. The price isn't too bad either. We will be moving the girls outside soon and put it away for next time.”
