“Now that the girls are 4 weeks old I have turned off the heat lamp and can use this heat panel alone. When the girls were younger it didn't quite keep them warm enough but was a nice addition as they feathered out and had different requirements. I am not sure if it will do much when the girls are grown since it is small and they will be larger but maybe it will take the edge off. I like that it can be wall mounted and mainly that it can sit in shavings without being a fire hazard!”
“I really haven't used it yet as i bought it for the winter. I did try it and it works fine but the chickens didn't as it has been warm. Satisfied with the product at this point.”
