“Our chicken, Ruby, seems pleased with our recent purchase. So nice to have since we've always been afraid of the more intense heaters with all the hay/straw in the coop. She lost her mate last year and we want her to have some extra warmth this winter. So far, it seems very good! She cozies right up against the heater and it does throw off some nice heat, though not enough (as stated on description) to heat the coop itself. My only question is that one side of the button is supposed to be warm and the other even warmer. But from what I can tell, it seems as if there isn't a huge difference in the heat output. But overall we are very satisfied with this purchase! We're certain Ruby is, too!”
“This is a nice heater. Reminds me of a hot plate. It does not put out a lot of heat but is perfect for a small coop (I have 4 hens). I feel confident about providing warmth without the fear of a fire”
