My hen is missing a crest. Which is fine. But she only laid for 2-3 months. They were gorgeous, big turquoise eggs. But then she seemed to stop laying. We started finding strips of membrane around the coop and smashed eggs with barely any shell layer on them. She's been laying soft shell/thin shell eggs ever since, despite layer feed, oysters and calcium supplements. No other hens have this problem. Something seems to be wrong with her shell gland. And after 3 months of this, I've lost hope that she'll ever lay a normal egg again.

Miss Manager is adorable and quite docile. She seems to like being picked up and transported out of her confines. She is the most vocal so far of the three chicks, but time may change that. She is part of the third order of live chicks I've made from mypetchicken, and she will be as loved and pampered as her eventual flockmates. She's not as speedy as the other two chicks when they're doing their pointless zoomies, but that may just be because she's smarter and realizes it's silly. We love her wheaty colors and inquisitive looks. She's a peach.
