“This was my first time incubating hatching eggs and it was almost a complete disaster. First, the post office failed to hold my eggs and delivered them tied shut in a plastic bag in a terrible storm. Then, despite setting up and testing the incubator in advance, the heating element would not maintain a consistent temperature after the first week (it would suddenly dip down 3-4 degrees) so we tried to put the eggs under two broody hens - both of which decided they were no longer interested in hatching babies 6 hours later! So back into the faulty incubator the eggs went. Of the 4 eggs received, 1 was not fertilized, 2 made it to lockdown but did not hatch (I blame the incubator and was surprised they made it this far), and 1 literally kicked her way out on day 23 and is now a healthy chick. Our little Miyagi truly beat the odds! Looking forward to purchasing more eggs and a new incubator so we can try again!”
“This was my first time ordering fertile eggs. I received 7 eggs, 2 never fertilized, 2 didnt make it thru hatch but three hatched and it was amazing! one was a naked neck, one polish frizzle and one regular frizzle. Unfortunately the naked neck and frizzle were roosters so had to be sent away :-( Noisy little buggers! The lone polish frizzle is so shy but integrated well with my other hens. Overall a great experience. Now I want more!!”
“I absolutely LOVE this assortment. I have hatched some really great looking chicks from this egg assortment which includes frizzles, Nacked Necks and some cute bantams. I was not disappointed with this hatch and it was so fun to watch these chicks feather out.”
