“Bottom base thin and fragile, it should be made as thick as the rest of the coup. And the trays are thin and fragile. I purchased two coups, one was easy to assemble; the other one required much pounding with a mallet. It will last longer than a wooden coup.”
“Easy to assemble, 28 minutes 1 person.
Girls took to it on the first day. Its so easy to clean, just pull out the trays, dump the poop in the compost pile and hose down. NO MITES! I just love having a totally pristine chicken coop.
I know this coop will last a lifetime.”
“was very easy to put together, but make sure it hasn't been sitting in the hot sun, as the plastic will soften and make it more difficult to snap together. Otherwise it is a great coop. I did make a base to raise it up, so had to build a ramp for the "girls" to have access. Since my chickens are free range, the coop is only used for night time resting, and egg laying; I feel 8 full-sized chickens might be pushing the limit of this coop (currently housing 3 older ladies, and 3 youngsters from this spring). I will state that the nesting boxes double as sleeping areas, but this might change once the younger girls start producing.”
“My pet chicken was great to work with and house came quickly even though COVID-19 had several places working pretty thin. Wife loves the house and our 3 year old enjoys checking for eggs every morningin the nesting boxes. House was very easy to build and looks great! We did add an automatic door opener which is very nice. I highly recommend this chicken coop, high quality, easy to build and looks great!”
