“Our girl is an absolute firecracker! Head hen from day 1, she taught her siblings how to drink from their water container, and how to play with the chick toys. She would cry loudly though if her sisters went under the heating plate and left her out alone- but she would stop crying if I sat down with her. She loves snuggles and blackberries are her favorite thing in the world. She’s an absolute blast, thank you for sending a happy healthy chick!”

(Arrived healthy in less than 24 hours with 14 other chicks.) She's very curious and is in almost every picture Ive taken of the other babies, she wants to see what's going on so she's photobombing everyone it's like she's doing it on purpose!”

“Spunky, healthy and active. She's just a baby so growing quickly and doesn't have her adult color yet. I did note that she didn't arrive with the red tint to her head so I'm interested to see how much of a gold/copper tint she might have as an adult. I always loved the Golden Cuckoo Marans color so I'm interested to see how similar this fun new bird will be as an adult, and the fact that it lays Green is a super fun twist for my kids.”

“We were very excited about getting this breed, especially since it was new! We love to have a variety of colors in our flock! She arrived perky and quickly began exploring the heat plate (under and on top!) and she enjoys the jungle gym. Only one week and she already has tail feathers and beautiful wing tips! We love the little spot on her head- it reminded of us a little crown, so we named her Athena! She is a strong girl!”
