“All six of my new baby chicks arrived happy and healthy in a cute little box! I also enjoyed the ability to filter and sort for chicken breeds online by things like friendliness, egg color, ship date.”
“I got this chicken last September, and she has been an amazing influence on our flock! She was an energetic chick from the start, hopping out of the box as soon as we opened it. She lays very well, (5-7 eggs per week) and her eggs are a beautiful light cream color. I would have given her 5/5 stars, but she came with a mutation on her comb that makes her head look a little uglier. However, I would definitely buy this breed again.”
Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear that your Golden Laced Wyandotte has been such a wonderful addition to your flock—energetic, a great layer, and a positive influence!
We appreciate your honest feedback about her comb. While little quirks like that can make each bird unique, we understand how it might not be what you expected. It’s great to hear that you’d still choose this breed again!

"Small but mighty" is a great way to describe a young Wyandotte. As they age, they do tend to get a bit fluffier, and they are so sweet and great producers. We're glad your babies are doing well!
“My hen is very calm and quiet, she started laying at about 3 months. She is in the middle of the pecking order, and is fairly passive, but still curious and unafraid.”
It is always a bit facsinating to watch how the pecking order is established in our flocks!. They all have such individual personalities and figure out where everyone stands on their own quite well. Your little Golden Laced Wyandotte will surely continue to be a great addition to your backyard flock. We hope you have many years of happiness together with her and her flock mates!
