“We named this sweet fluff ball Big Birtha, and she really is just a snowball! Her feathers are growing in VERY SLOW, like she has barely any wing feathers compared to the 12 others in the brooder, but she is a big girl in comparison! She loves to eat, and she gets along well with the other chicks, but I find she does not like being handled, and is still quite nervous to eat out of hands. Unless I am checking the chicks for something like pasty butt, I choose not to force handle them, and its worked well with the other chicks who went from shy to loving to be handled! So I have hope that she will slowly get a bit more comfortable with us!”
The Light Brahmas are just delightful birds and a year round favorite. We all have to admit that we have a favorite or two-- or maybe we have favorites in categories ( to even it out!). Thank you for the sweet review.
“I would love to submit a photo, but unsure how. I love my baby Brahma chick! The friendliest of the chicks and loves to be held and eats food out of my hand day 2. Very calm and also loves to be pet. I am very pleased!”
Here is your very adorable Light Brahma and we are so delighted to be able to add this photo for you! Light Brahmas are known to be gentle giants with their calm personalities! Your sweet girl also looks to be inquistive and quite huggable! We hope you enjoy her for many years to come!
Thank you for your review! We’re so glad to hear your Light Brahma chicks are both darling and healthy! And great job monitoring and managing that little bit of sticky poo (pasty butt)—it’s a common issue in young chicks, and we always appreciate when customers stay on top of their care!
Thank you for your review! Light Brahmas are such wonderful birds—sweet, gentle, and always busy exploring! We're so glad you're enjoying their charming personalities. They make such a great addition to any flock!
