This is my new favorite chicken. They are so cute even if they have 1 brain cell. I love them so much.

No problems with sickness or failure to thrive as chicks. Healthy & Hardy. One of my faverolles is my most confident hen. The other one less so. One thing I will warn was I got these guys because someone told me they were a "quieter chicken breed"- not so! About as loud as easter eggers I've had before. Would go with Wyandottes as my consistently quietest breed thus far if you're in an urban setting. Brahma roosters I've had were also a bit quieter than the Faverolles hens now that they're laying.

Alex, thank you for sharing your experience! It’s wonderful to hear that your Salmon Faverolles are thriving and that one has grown into such a confident hen. Chickens truly do have unique personalities (and vocalizations!), and it sounds like yours are no exception! We appreciate the insight! It's always good to know what to expect, especially in urban settings. While yours might not be the quietest, their charm and character often make up for it! Thank you again for your review, and we wish you many happy years with your flock.

We got, Adelle, our Salmon Faverolles Female strong and in good health. Her personality shown through from the beginning! She has a set of lungs! (Hence the name) Definitely the loudest and most talkative in the bunch. She is fancy and dramatic but does NOT miss a snack. One of the cutest chicks in the bunch. Look forward to purchasing more of this breed in the future.

They are pretty chicks and very healthy, I can't wait to see how fluffy they get later, I was most excited about these one because they lay pink eggs and are cold hardy chickens

I received my Mona with other babies 2 years ago (seems longer). She definitely is low man on totem pole but she is just the funniest little imp! She is a Talker!!! She is always telling stories and never stops talking (even when she eats). No matter what she always seems happy! I love this little girl one of favorites! MPC was wonderful to work with, in our shipment we received our Wyandotte with splayed legs (was able to fix this situation) which they encouraged me to try. My New Hampshire Red, Poppy who arrived the most robust died on day 2 which they reimbursed me for. At 5 months old my Bountiful Blue had a very large comb (description was pea comb) and I was afraid she may be a Roo, I called them and they asked for pictures of different areas of her body so they could help me determine her sex through her feathers. They were right and she hatched out 4 babies last year and actually one of her own. She never layed a blue egg but her daughter lays the most beautiful bluish-green egg I've ever seen. I will order from MPC again, just not sure about this year or next.

We bought two of these ladies last year, and they are doing wonderfully. They're good layers, but the best part is how friendly they are! They will follow people around and when I close the coop up at night, they run out of their house to greet me. Big personalities!

We are so very happy to hear your girls are doing so wonderful and how much you are enjoying having them as part of your flock! The Salmon Faverolles are known for their friendly personalities and we've had some customers tell us they are often "lap chickens" if you let them! Please let us know if you ever want some treats to spoil your girls after providing those wonderful eggs and so much affection! We are here for you - & the lovebugs :-)
