“It is nice and roomy. I preferred the blue and white checked on I got from you previously. I feel we could see inside much better. Accessability is okay. I bought 2 bc I have quite a few chicks coming and as they get older they will need more room.”
Thank you Kathryn for leaving a review for the My Pet Chicken Hen Pen Pop-Up Brooder. We updated our My Pet Chicken Hen Pen Pop-Up Brooder to green. Our materials are thicker, stronger, and better than before. We are so glad that you that you can even use the pop-up brooder as your chicks get a little older.

“Good quality product and should work well for my chickens, when they arrive.”
“I love the chicken pop up pen. I have a few broody hens and have to move them out of the chicken coop until they cool off. Pet pee pads work so well in the bottom of it.”
Hi Holly, we're so pleased that you are happy with the pop up brooder! It is a great space for those little ones to grow up! Thanks for taking the time to review the product and we wish you much happiness with your little ones!
“I await chick delivery but see this as a real treat with heater as opposed to past raising chicks in a covered plastic dog kennel with heat lamp. Love the room and safety of heater I bought yo go with this. Less mess and doo-dah setting it up in house with dogs and cats during cool and rainy (snowy) spring weather this year.”
Thank you for your wonderful review of the Hen Pen Pop Up Brooder! They are great as they are safe and so very easy to clean, maintain and store for future use. My Pet Chicken is delighted to hear that you are enjoying it!
“We ordered a pop up type brooder from Amazon and returned it as it was so cheaply built. The height was too low for a proper brooder as well. I saw that this brooder was more expensive but saw it was from Pet Chicken. Reading the description, I bought it. I was not disappointed. It was much, much better-built better, sturdier and the interior height was higher. The only complaint I have is the zippered side door. It is good to thread a cord through this door for the warmer, but small pieces of shavings come out this one door as there is no solid sides like all the other sides have. The smaller shavings and any other small particles go out the netting and into the floor. Also it would be so convenient to have the top door have two zippers so you can have it open from anywhere. Other than that-it’s great and when they grow out of it, I hope washing it out will be easy! It seems to fold up nicely.”
Deborah, We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that you were not disappointed with your purchase after your previous experience with a cheaply built brooder. We understand your concern regarding the zippered side door and the small shavings and particles escaping through it. We will consider this and see if we can improve future designs to help tackle this issue. Additionally, we appreciate your suggestion of having dual zippers on the top door for more convenience, and we will explore this possibility for future models. Thank you once again for choosing My Pet Chicken. Your feedback is invaluable, as it helps us continually improve our products and provide the best possible experiences for our customers and their beloved chickens.
