“The felt is thick and looks great, but the panels only have veneer on one side, and just exposed mdf (or similar) on the sides. Maybe this is ok if the panelling is placed where nobody looks very closely. We might use it for a ceiling.”

Please note that our panels are made using a real wood veneer facing. However, the MDF core, designed to stabilise the natural wood product, is indeed visible on the sides of each slat. This is specified on our website and we would generally advise for our customers to order a sample prior to committing to a full purchase.
