“I purchased 6 packs of the Midnight Ash planks, they arrived within a week, I applied the planks to the chimney breast, to test how good the adhesive strip is on the back of the planks, I placed a sample of it on my wall, well literally had to crowbar it off, so there's no worry of any of the planks randomly falling off, cutting was very easy too, I used a fine toothed saw to cut them, in the places I needed to cut the planks horizontally, I just used a Stanley blade over and over again until I went through the plank, the planks themself look amazing, I have had not stop compliments from everyone and I shall be telling all my friends and family where to get there's from”
Hi there,
Thank you for your 5-star review 😊
We really appreciate your feedback and we are so happy you found the planks easy to install!
Kind Regards,
Kathy
“Exactly what we were after. Looks fantastic, easy to cut, easy to install with very strong adhesive strips. May need little No Nails depending where you install or if you cut smaller pieces. See photo. I bought a silver rounded edging to put at tip so you don't see the side of the panels. Finished it off nice I thought.”
Hi Brandon,
Thank you very much for the kind feedback, we truly appreciate it.
We love what you have done with the edging strip too, what a great idea! ?
Kind Regards,
Aimee
“Looks great and easy to use. I recommend a mitre saw for clean cuts, and following the preparation instructions to the letter. Of the 12 meters squared I put up, I've barely needed to use nails, and this is mostly due to the surface.”
“I used the midnight ash from Naturewall to revamp our dining room. It is easy to cut to length using a mitre saw set and fixes pretty well to the wall with the adhesive strips. I used the J roller and would suggest that anyone who purchases the self adhesive planks use the roller as it applies a consistent pressure along the tape lines. The only criticism is that some of the ends of the planks do not stick down even with significant pressure being applied. If it were not for this minor issue I would rate them as a 4.5 if I could.”
