“A good quality product for the price; can't fault the brushed polyester material or the style.
However, I did return the product as the size was just too big; the sleeves were cut so widely, they could have been trouser legs. Maybe my biceps/triceps just aren't big enough?”
“This jacket was bought to go with waterproof work trousers bought from the same company to use when beach combing for sea glass throughout the winter. I am lucky enough to have a selection of winter coats already - but I'm glad I bought these. The North Sea throws up pretty extreme weather conditions, with cold biting winds that can accelerate in the blink of an eye and, for this, the coat's massive collar provides the best protection.
Looks-wise the jacket's shoulders are too wide for me but it is for work, not more formal dress, and the extra space around the chest and shoulders facilitates greater ease of movement as I'm frequently stooping down to 'harvest' the beach.
Could've done with a secure inside pocket, but still 5 stars because this is the best coat for the job (and, as it's worn in conjunction with inner jacket/gilet, this is not a massive issue). the four outer pockets are well placed for hand warming parka or conventional style, the deep bottom pockets ideal for bagging the stuff collected.
With the extremely protective hood this is the best coat for the job. Congrats to New Forest, whose service/despatch times are also second to none.”
“Nice jacket, wind and waterproof and very comfortable and the hood is perfect, my only issue with it is your arms at the cuff can become quite sweaty if only wearing a T shirt. The neoprene cuff also becomes wet, however it dries very quickly.”
“Length of coat excellent, like the peaked hood. As yet not been out in very heavy rain but has certainly kept the wind and light rain out. Only given 3 stars because it's made in China and from past experience Chinese products don't last, plus if I had looked probably could have got a very similar jacket off Temu for half the price”
