“The Nittaku Miyabi Round is a great blade. If you like single-ply Kiso Hinoki blades, you should try Miyabi. The blade is lively and has a wonderful feedback. As always with Kiso Hinoki, the attack is very dynamic and satisfying. The blade is surprisingly light. Compared to my other 1-ply Hinoki blade, Darker Speed 90, Miyabi is not as fast. But this is good, I personally like it. Miyabi has all the positive and loveable characteristics of a single-ply Kiso Hinoki blade, but at the same time is very easy to control. The round shape facilitates flicks close to the table. I have grown very fond of the blade since my first training session and can only recommend it. Greetings from Berlin, Germany.”
