Love the look and it is very steady with my heavy laptop (Thinkpad). I can even type carefully and it doesn't shake the camera too much. But I prefer to use a separate keyboard and mouse. The only downside is that it takes a lot of strength to open and close. And I have to do this every morning because I need to stow everything away.

so far, i am loving this! it's sturdy, sleek, versatile. Only used it fora few days so far. I appreciate that y'all take the time to really build something that addresses multiple functions while maintaining an easily transportable and collapsable product. My space is small and it is hard to feel like i have to sacrifice functionality for store-ability. This has both!

The minder is way more than I hoped for, and to think I almost went with an inferior product. My laptop is not going to be bumped out, slowly lowered or wobbly. I can easily type. It is a dream of a laptop holder and elevator. I'm very very very happy with this purchase. If you need one this is the only one to buy in my book.

Excellent build quality. Trying to figure out best way to use with MacBook Pro 16" as the two metal support tabs in the front get in the way of using the builtin keyboard trackpad.

I really like the stand. I would have appreciated just one slip of paper explaining how it works. Where the unit flexes is quite stiff. I understand why, but I wondered at first if there was some kind of tension button I was supposed to adjust. I wondered if just pulling it up and pushing it down might damage it. No way of knowing. It took 2 days to figure out how to extend the unit higher. I got a bag with two small round paper pads and an allen wrench. I figure the allen wrench is if I need to tighten the top platform(I see it fits the 8 screws, but not the two on the stand). I figure the pads are extra. Why should I have to guess?
