“The Good The design lives up to the product images. It’s a handsome piece—exactly what drew me to it in the first place. The alarm function works flawlessly. This morning it went off on schedule with a genuinely pleasant, calm tone that made for an easy wake-up. That’s the core job, and it does it well. The Problems Setup friction. The instruction manual is QR-code-only. When I scanned it, Microsoft Defender flagged the link as a phishing site and blocked it. I had to disable my security software just to access basic setup instructions. For a premium product, this is sloppy—either the company doesn’t know its documentation link is flagged by major security vendors, or it doesn’t care. Either way, it’s a red flag. Music playback is broken. I’ve tried the music function multiple times. The pre-recorded prompt plays (“Now playing all the music”), but no audio follows. I’ve unplugged and replugged the device. Nothing. On a product at this price point, a non-functional feature suggests potential quality control issues elsewhere. Setup UX is clunky. The knob interface requires scrolling through all numbers to reach your target—it’s inefficient and more fiddly than it should be for a modern device. Bottom Line One working feature and one broken feature. The alarm works, the music doesn’t. Before I commit to keeping it, I need to see whether this is an isolated defect or a symptom of broader manufacturing problems. I’m giving it a few more weeks of testing, but I’m within the 30-day return window and may use it.”

What do you love most about your OneClock? No connectivity, The Music

Anything else? It has a solid, modern, yet classic feel and design.

“I purchased OneClock as a way to remove my cell phone from my bed stand. My sleep has been much more consistent, even though I tried to use phone apps to improve my sleep prior to buying OneClock. It has made me realize that my phone is always stimulating, no matter what content is on it. The waking experience is gentle, but very present. I like the music a LOT and I'm interested in what might be coming down the pike in the future. The analog experience of OneClock has allowed me to shift in other areas toward a more productive use of digital media.”

What do you love most about your OneClock? The Wake Up

Anything else? The music reminds me of lullaby music from childhood but not childish.

“Revision: I still wake up before the alarm often, after 10 months, but when the alarm wakes me it is still not jarring. I bought an analog alarm clock in the 1980’s that had a gentle alarm that started at a low volume and gradually increased the volume. It was simple to set and use and inexpensive - plain black plastic. When it stopped working I used various battery-powered alarm clocks and later my phone alarm. I wanted to remove my phone from the bedroom so I bought OneClock. It has reduced the anxiety I felt, which had me waking before the alarm sounded. The music is gentler than the other alarms I used. My sleep is not yet consistent but I don’t anticipate the alarm as much. I feel less stressed after the OneClock sounds and don’t jump out of bed with urgency to silence it.”

Anything else? I need help! I can set my alarm and check it, which is always confirms a 5am wake up but it isn't going off. If it does, it may not the next morning. I have faith and hope! Thanks for your help.
