“The Good The design lives up to the product images. It’s a handsome piece—exactly what drew me to it in the first place. The alarm function works flawlessly. This morning it went off on schedule with a genuinely pleasant, calm tone that made for an easy wake-up. That’s the core job, and it does it well. The Problems Setup friction. The instruction manual is QR-code-only. When I scanned it, Microsoft Defender flagged the link as a phishing site and blocked it. I had to disable my security software just to access basic setup instructions. For a premium product, this is sloppy—either the company doesn’t know its documentation link is flagged by major security vendors, or it doesn’t care. Either way, it’s a red flag. Music playback is broken. I’ve tried the music function multiple times. The pre-recorded prompt plays (“Now playing all the music”), but no audio follows. I’ve unplugged and replugged the device. Nothing. On a product at this price point, a non-functional feature suggests potential quality control issues elsewhere. Setup UX is clunky. The knob interface requires scrolling through all numbers to reach your target—it’s inefficient and more fiddly than it should be for a modern device. Bottom Line One working feature and one broken feature. The alarm works, the music doesn’t. Before I commit to keeping it, I need to see whether this is an isolated defect or a symptom of broader manufacturing problems. I’m giving it a few more weeks of testing, but I’m within the 30-day return window and may use it.”

“I’d give the One Clock a solid 4/5 stars. I genuinely love the product and really appreciate what the company stands for - the design, simplicity, and overall experience are great. That said, one of the main reasons I originally purchased the clock was the expectation that I’d be able to change the waking music over time as new options were released. Unfortunately, years later, I’m still stuck with the original music. I did try to add the newer set of waking music, but I wasn’t able to get it to work, which was disappointing. Being able to refresh the wake-up experience would take this product to the next level. Still a great product overall. I just wish it evolved a bit more after purchase.”

“I think it's a BRILLIANT concept and beautifully made! I can't stand the sound of most alarm clocks, hate having my phone in my bedroom and the gentle, calm awakening I get from OneClock is like nothing else. I was so lucky to get a taste of the second install of music and truly would love to hear more!”

“Great little clock. It is very attractive (black with wood). I love that it is not digital. Took me a few tries to figure out how to set the wake up time. I still have not gone through the music repetoir, but will do so later. Also thank you for your speedy service. I was surprised how quickly the clock arrived at my house. It came very well packed.”
