This dripper manifold is sturdy, well-made and (according to the website chatbot) “suitable for outdoor use” – hopefully UV and weather resistant!
The 16mm/13mm couplings fit with a good selection of my 16mm dripper supply pipes - no worries there. HOWEVER – and this is why I am awarding only 3 stars and a tentative recommendation – the flanges or barbs on the manifold’s 6mm/4mm dripper pipe couplings are too small (at 4.5 mm diameter) to fit anything but the 6mm/4mm HozeLock Micro Tube; other manufacturer’s ordinary 6mm dripper pipes in my watering system simply slip on and off with NO purchase at all. The manifold outlet barbs should usefully be 5-5.5 mm for greater compliance. Remember to use only the HozeLock Micro Tube (or such other dripper tubing with an accurate 4mm internal diameter) and you should be OK. A pressure regulator in your water feed is probably a wise move.”

Piping can be a bit of a nightmare if we're completely honest, with several manufacturers stating differing internal and external measurements. We're worked hard to source an array of differing piping which matches each other perfectly, but there is always a chance if you're using 3rd party piping that it might not fit perfectly. I'm glad you've got some that does fit - if you ever need any more, check out our 4mm dripper piping, which will be spot on.
