“it won't sort old £1 coins, foreign coins etc., just puts them through as whatever coin they are closest to in size. Would be fine for home use, no use for charity/business”

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! You’re absolutely right — the Safescan 1250 isn’t designed to sort old £1 coins or foreign coins, as it only recognises current UK denominations. This model has been purchased alot over the years for businesses and charities however foreign objects and old coins must be removed before counting.
