“I ordered the UK 16 because it said it was comparable to a US 12 and it was way too big. The fabric is also very thin (albeit, comfortable) and seems like it would stretch out over the course of the day.”

Hey, Thank you for taking the time to leave us with your feedback on our 304 Service Fatigues. We are so very sorry to hear your order did not fit as expected. We recommend prior to purchase, measuring a similar item of your own, and comparing those measurements to our Size Guide which should help you find your perfect fit. In addition to this, we have a Fit Quiz which is available for each product, and can further assist you in finding the right size. However, if you believe your order does not match up to our size guide or our international conversion chart it would be really useful if you could get in touch with our support team who would be happy to take a further look for you. We have very recently improved the fit of our new Checkerboard Fatigues and have updated our size chart accordingly. They now offer a new refined style with a 3% elastane mix for added comfort and stretch, I can confirm that they should not stretch much more and instead should retain the shape they have. “I really dig these pants! I probably could’ve gone down to a 14, as the waist was a bit too big, even with the adjustable straps. I had to move the buttons back to get the fit in the photos. I had gotten a bigger size based on the earlier product reviews but the new version seem to be true to size and have plenty of stretch! I wish there were a tall size (I’m 5’9”) as I generally like another inch or two on my pants. For the thicker thigh girlies, you probably won’t get that loser fit as modeled (I sure didn’t”) but they’re still very cute!”

“I am in love with these pants! They are so fun and the attention to detail adds so much more flare than other checkered pants I have found. The fit is very flattering, the material doesn't have a lot of stretch but the overall quality is sturdy. I am a US size 12 so I ordered a size 16 and they are perfect. The waist is adjustable with the little buttons and the length is perfect. They are my new favorite pants.”

“Good quality, bought a size up due to reading reviews saying they run small but i would of been okay just buying my normal size as these fit fine but there is quite a bit of room around the waist”

“The pants are well-constructed, though I wish they had a "tall" option. I'm 5'10" 185lbs and ordered the regular inseam (as long as they get). I knew it was a bit of a risk, but I figured since they offer a "short" inseam, the "regular" inseam might pass. They're quite short– and I'm sure a few trips through the laundry wouldn't help. They also run large. I am usually a US 12 so I ordered a size 16– as recommended by the sizing chart. I am somehow swimming in them! Sad to be returning these– but even with sizing down I don't think I'll be happy with the inseam.”

We do provide a very detailed size guide for our customers, along with a find 'Find your size' tool to help you find the perfect fit. Our customer service team are also available to further assist you with any queries you may have around the sizing of each product. In some very rare cases products have been incorrectly labelled, which is what I believe may have happened here. “I ordered a size 12 originally and it was very small. I’m normally a 10 so I sized up. Sent back and got a size 16 instead to be sure it would fit. It’s definitely bigger than I normally wear but it’s cute as an oversized baggy look so I’ll stick with them. I also added another button to each side to cinch the waist which really helped! Would recommend going 2 sizes up from what you normally wear.”
