“My Favorite Liquid Gold. This is my absolute number one favorite tea of P&T. Should you look for an extremely rich flavor with some tones like caramalized brown sugar, roasted nuts and a fresh breath of a meadow with old trees: this is it. Not a dark bitter black tea at all. This is a pure liquid gold brew that is warming and gentle as a silk scarf on a hot and cold day. Easy to pair with a Chinese dinner but also adds value to any high tea. For me this is the perfect tea: highly recommended!”
“Good tea. The tasting notes ring a bell with this one, not that I follow them in general. Main point for me is the taste and is the tea good with milk and this one is. Got several (about 12) black tea blends that I like to rotate but this one is in top three. The smell of the tea alone is very different from other teas I have and also the large tea leaves that open nicely in the pot while brewing. Really hope this tea stays in P&T selection indefinately.”

“Thoroughly enjoyable. This tea is a real joy on the palate; in addition to the stronger malt and burnt caramel top notes, there is also sweet almost bitter orange under note that comes out particularly when brewed cold as ice tea. Mouth feel is light and pleasant on the tongue.”
