What a great addition to my bicycle set of tools. Holds wheel in place securely and yet it is flexible to allow easy removal and installation of tire and tube. No more need of a third hand to hold wheel in place.

I bought it thinking it was a luxury purchase, but I use it SO much now. I have it clamped to my workbench and can bring it outside and clamp it to a table I use outside at times. Great for swapping tires and I also used it to hold a wheel I was applying tubular glue to.

I love it but there are some things that need to be improved. I'm focusing here on the steel axle that hold the wheel. 1. It would be awesome to have it some mm longer so a safety latch could be installed to hold the wheel in place if in the horizontal position. 2. The axle does not sit flush with the holder. The remaining contact surfaces is very little and because of this, turning the wheel the smallest bit can loosen the axle and making very wobbly. The three latches or the axle should be reworked (pictures attached) 3. Instead of a screw, there should some kind of quick lever as the screw tends to loosen from vibration. I hope for a MKII and that I get one as a trade in (;

Really like this tool. It is clamped to my workbench and I have a wheel on it using a quick release. I am going to wrap my tubeless tape on the rim using this wheel stand. Some tubeless sealant got under the prior rim tape and I am letting the wheel rest on the stand so that any remaining sealant drains out the spoke holes before I wrap it.

Expect the best from the number one bicycle tool maker in the world. It makes my job easier every time I put sealant in my tubeless tire.

I have only used this once so far, but I can clearly see that it will be used often in the future for most wheel work. I used it to swap out a tubeless road tire and just having the wheel held vertically for the tire removal, wheel rim cleaning, tire replacement and especially sealant addition/inflation was a much nicer experience than my old method. I also used the angled face to distribute sealant around the inside of the tire along each bead. Sure, this can be done by hand as well, but it was at least an option. I clamp the tool in my sturdy bench vise when I need it so setup is a 10-second affair, and when I am done with it I simply remove it and put it away until the next job. I used it with a traditional quick release and I had to be careful not to be too aggressive with the leverage I could impart on the wheel to prevent me from bending the quick release shaft. With a through axle (I have yet to use those adapters), that would not be a real concern. Pricey, yes - a bit. But the more it gets used, the lower the price per use is, plus it saves me time and a little frustration, so it will pay for itself.

Love the holder. It works great and I use it all the time. If you find yourself working on wheels whether it is taping them, putting brake disks on, or just replacing tires, this tool is great. It would rate five stars if the thumb screw were better designed. It is made of hard plastic that broke the very first time I used it. If you tighten the axle assembly enough to not wobble, you will likely break the thumb screw. After trying to glue it up I finally pulled the black plastic bit off and threw it away. That revealed a normal 1/2” bolt. Ok, it is the sole imperial bolt in my workshop (why!?!) but now it tightens properly and holds the wheel solidly.
