“Further to my original post, my wee cherub has been on this diet for over a year now and what a difference it has made to her overall health. As mentioned before, her food was changed around the same time as her analgesia but I think it's safe to say that we will be continuing with this prescription diet for the foreseeable future. I have one very happy, bouncy, playful dog again with the most amazingly contagious zest for life and I do think Hills j/d Diet is playing a positive role in this.
Very early days yet but vet recommended it so giving it a go to see if it does what it says on the packet! Fingers crossed. I have had to state if I would or wouldn't recommend it and to be fair although I have said yes, it is too soon to know as it is a new product for us and we have been using it for approximately one week! Hence my 3 star rating too. Watch this space! I am sure if I was asked to review again in 2 months it would have a much better feel for the product and be able to give a more solid review. We have now been using this for 2 months. The dog loves it. She has a whole new zest for life although unsure if this can be solely attributed to the change in diet or a combination of all the changes recently made to improve her joint health but as a package, it has certainly improved her quality of life and if my fur baby is happy, I am happy.”
