“Difficult to use ... I found it difficult to keep the dog still to get to her teeth, usually you can get a treat to be encouragement but not in this case as it is not allowed after the treatment. Also how you will stop the dog of getting things in her mouth to keep it not effected even for a few min. I can put food and water away she grabs the toys the other things to play she can find as she thinks it is a game time she deserves after this treatment. May be it will work with less active dog but with my dog even she is 14 years old is very difficult. Therefore all the rest of the questions i cannot answer as difficult to see how it really suppose to work.”
“I bought this product for my toy poodle due to her bad breath when she came back from a friend of mine while I was away for a month. Checked her teeth, there are few teeth have tartar built up already.
Simply followed the instruction on the package to apply onto her biggest teeth at the back and let her lick around all the teeth. Even though it says no brushing is required, I still use a kid's toothbrush to brush the gel gently around the teeth and then apply some more onto her biggest teeth. DO NOT give water or food within 30min after application. The gel needs time to work on the tartar.
Only after a week, you can see the results. The tartar is almost gone from her biggest teeth at the back, no tartar appears on the other teeth. The breath is getting better and better.
I would recommend this product to everyone whose dog has the same problem as mine. After all the tartar is vanished or controlled, you can buy the other product that is added into the drinking water.”
“Loving it so far, it has loosened the pieces of tartar I've had trouble getting off myself (Childs tooth brush & scrapping with my thumb nail). They are cleaner than what they were, just the odd patch left.
If you can't clean your dogs teeth (I mean throughly clean so they are white/especially the back ones) I recommend taking your dog to a groomer first and then use this product going foward after the groomer had cleaned their teeth. Especially if your dog isn't much of a bone or rope toy lover.
