“I have a Bichon, and going to the park every afternoon was becoming a nightmare for me and the dog. She would come back completely caked in mud, and was needing to be washed every evening. If it was raining she would come back freezing, because her fur basically makes her like a little mop and she just soaked up all the water. I got this jacket to help with the above problems and it is worth its weight in gold!! Totally does the trick. I'm happy, my dog is happy, everyone wins!
Its wind proof and waterproof (to a reasonable degree). Because of the way its made with a 'T' bar across the chest it doesn't fall to one side, so it doesn't annoy the dog, and it doesn't annoy me because I don't have to adjust it every 2 minutes, (unlike some other jackets which only have the strap under the belly). As well its more comfortable for the dog as it fits the same way as a harness would. Think of it as a harness but with a cape.
