“I wanted to like these since they’re made in NZ. They were fine at first but the bags would get stuck closed and become really hard to open. The Beco brand compostable bags are much more reliable so we’ve gone back to them”
“I've been buying these for a while now. There was an issue with some of the batches where they would split vertically when you ripped them off the roll. It was really annoying and I wasted some bags because of that the latest batch is fine again. One tip is to not let rain get on them since they will be very hard to open (they are compostable so this is pretty normal for that).”
“I love that these are NZ made and fully biodegradable, and I would definitely keep buying them, except that they are frustrating to actually use. The bags are so clingy, it takes a long time to just unfold them, and then trying to get them open is always a challenge. It doesn't sound like much, but standing around mid-walk for 3 or 4 minutes just trying to get the bag open so you can get the poop out of everyone's way is way longer than the 30 seconds max that activity should take.”
