Royal Canin Dog Medium Adult Loaf Can Wet Reviews

4.8 Rating 23 Reviews
We’ve been feeding our English Blue Staffy Royal Canin's hypoallergenic dry food due to his allergies, so we were keen to try the Royal Canin Mousse Loaf for some variety. Jack absolutely loves it! The mousse loaf has a great texture, and mixing it with his dry food has made mealtime even more enjoyable for him. It seems to work well for dogs with sensitivities, as Jack has had no issues after eating it. The mousse adds a nice variety to his diet and is a great way to make his meals even more flavourful while still being gentle on his stomach. I would definitely recommend Royal Canin Mousse Loaf. Jack can’t get enough of it, and I love knowing it’s safe and nutritious for him as are all the Royal Canin products we’ve tried so far. Highly recommended!

Royal canine is a quality brand so I had high expectations, and was not disappointed with this loaf - my dog wolfed this down like it was his last meal. It was good to know that his tummy was happy, especially given this loaf contains prebiotics, loads of protein, and vitamins. I received this product as a gift for my honest review.

MY dog immediately enjoyed Royal Canin Loaf dog food for medium dogs, picking it over his usual supermarket brand and continuing to do so for the duration of the trial. The food is loaf style, soft and light. It is not overly 'smelly' when serving. An unused tin stores well in the fridge, covered, does not harden or become watery as I have found other brands to do so. My dog has loved this food and I feel the suggested serving sizes are appropriate and cost effective. I have noted my dogs faeces to also be smaller and firmer (a huge bonus of bin day!!) I had the opportunity to share some food with family dogs who equally enjoyed the food also. It was eaten without reluctance and their owners also noted smaller stools. My only critique would be that I would love to see an array of different flavors. This would provide some option and variety for my dog. This product was gifted to me for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

Our dog appeared to love this product - he gobbled it down with gusto! The packaging was a little 'dull' and 'utilitarian', and didn't particularly stand out. The product kept our boy 'regular' and he seemed to be full of energy. The product is less 'loaf' more 'casserole' consistency. This didn't deter the boy though. We would definitely buy this again. This product was gifted to me to try for my honest review, whether positive or negative.

Our English Springer Spaniel has only ever had dry dog food (science diet) before - so we went sure what effect this might have on them. However had no issues at all either devouring the contents or processing. Only problem at all was keeping the cat away! Being a loaf in a can it does involve some cutting of the contents in situ to get out - no way would it slide out then be cut like my memories of canned cat food. Not unpleasant to deal with as we feared, reasonable pate like consistency and smells like any dog food. Mickey loved it and seems to be full of energy and life - which for us is the highest review possible :) This product was gifted to me to try for my honest review, whether positive or negative.

The packaging is a small size can, as opposed to the large bulky cans that most dog food comes in. It's a manageable weight and size for small hands, and is easily stored. The label is quiet and subdued, possibly could be easily overlooked on a shelf full of bright and noisy labels. The easy open lid is a bonus, and is more convenient than needing to use a can opener, safer too. The smaller size of the tin makes serving it simple too, as i find that some cans are the same depth as the length of the spoon. It smells rather appealing, and my Nala definitely agreed. The texture is smooth, I didn't see any lumps, which made it easily vacuumed out of the bowl by the enthusiastic diner. Nala loved the taste, and licked the bowl clean. One downside is that as a complete meal for Nala, she would need 3 cans, according to the label. This would make for an expensive diet, and create a lot of recycling in the bin. I received this product as a gift for my honest review.
