“Unfortunately my cats recognise the tubes now and take off when they see them so it's just as well this product is so easy to apply. A scruff hold, 2 squeezes of the tube and it's all done.”
“I use to use the evance vitapet brand that was available at the supermarket and both of my cats hated it they would run around for about half and hour and frantically try to lick where i put the flea drop it also had a very strong smell, after using advocate once i noticed the difference straight away they did not go mad and run around like crazy and seemed alot more calmer also the smell was not as strong and overpowering, plus the worming included is a great bargaina s can never get them to eat a worming tablet. Love this product”
“Appears to work well as there are no sign of fleas. The only thing is, despite putting it on the back of her neck she manages to clean that area and absorb some and become somewhat subdued, either from the taste and/or effects of having done so.”
“Our cats are hunters so I like that the worm treatment is included. I haven't tried any other treatments of this type (i.e. dab behind neck). Some of our cats don't tolerate it as well as others, with some blinking their eyes a lot but this doesn't last long. I once did try tablets (brand unknown) but they didn't like them.
Tips for application: when you feed treats get them used to you stroking their neck fur while focussed on the food. If they slip away before you get the second squeeze onto the neck they'll probably come back to treats and you can have another go. Another tip is to get them while they're asleep. Part the fur so you get it on the skin as much as possible. Act quickly!”
