“wouldn't use anything else after using this, fits well and is very secure when using both stainless rings. used with a 40kg dog and never had any problems. dry reasonable quickly after getting wet.”
“Lots of collars break if your dog gives a really good pull because al of the stress is often loaded on the plastic clip.. this solves the problem by adding a second steel loop. Simple but brilliant idea!”
“Nice collar fits well on my lab but find it hard to clip a lead on to both D rings at the same time as intended as the D rings are to fat for most dog lead clips. I did find a lead with a big clip which I was then able to use with this collar”
“Really well built collar, the two lead rings are chunky which is great. We do still tend to use a harness on walks, but it's great to have the collar there as backup if we can't find the harness, or for quick trips where it's a bit of a pain to clip a harness on.
We knowingly bought a size that was a few cm too big for our 8 month old, it still fits ok - just a little loosely - but it should be a really good fit when she grows into it a bit more.
It was a wee bit wider than we expected (we got the biggest size), but I quite like the width. My partner isn't entirely sold, but it has grown on her for the week or so we've had it.
Probably the only small niggle I had was that the biggest ID tag loop is a little small for our rego tags here in Wellington (and I'm assuming they're the same elsewhere in NZ), but they can be fit on with a little bit of pushing. Not a big deal.
All in all, we're happy with the purchase.”
