“I put this on my Jack russell after trying halti face harnesses & normal body harnesses & I was amazed how well it worked.
He was walking so nicely I thought I'd try attaching my lead to the back ring rather than the front of chest/neck ring & straight away he was straining & pulling & coughing. I put the lead back to the front ring (that your supposed to use) & instantly I had my perfect walking pal again. Wow!
As the lead is fixed to the ring at the front of the dog (which stays at the front unlike normal collars), If he tries to pull the harness make him turn around to the side or towards the owner , so his pull has no effect & he gives up bothering .
The sizes do run big & I could have done with it tighter across the neck front area. I might sew it tighter myself.
I also like how there is a little link to attach it to the existing collar just in case you have a houdini dog that can magically get out of harnesses.”
“My puppy really needed this and it helped. The first time walking out the door with the harness was such a joyful moment. That was the first time he didn't pull. As a result, I love our walks and I actually enjoy walking him now. Finally my hands and shoulders don't hurt after each walk.
I did have to sew the front strap that goes in front of the shoulders since it was a bit loose (even after adjusting to the shortest length) as my puppy keeps biting it but it's no biggie since I have a sewing machine. It'll fit just right if he grows bigger.
Overall I think this would help stop the pulling of many dogs and I recommend buying this halti harness. It's also good quality.”
“I bought this harness to try before I recommend it to clients. My dogs were quite happy in it and it was good to turn them. I have tried it on a Husky Puppy and in this early stage looks like it will be successful. A lot nicer then pulling around the neck”
