“I was involved with a vet clinic for years and my Pitbull Cross never had any dental problems. Yet the Daschund that I have now at 5 years of age developed really smelly breath despite having the best diet, chew toys etc. It did not take long to train her to enjoy having her teeth brushed with this paste. With a quick brush once a day, no more smelly breath. I thank the active enzyme Glucose Oxidase. The glucose oxidase enzyme is an oxido-reductase that catalyses the oxidation of glucose to hydrogen peroxide and D-glucono-δ-lactone. In cells, it aids in breaking the sugar down into its metabolites. I would recommend this as a wonderful addition to pet care for both cats and dogs. Caution: it does take a bit of training and understanding between pet and owner, it is easier if they have stinky breath for they notice the difference. I would choose this over a similair product because of the flavour and the active enzymes, the animal needs a remedy. Its hard to convince a dog on a minty flavour that does not clear the rot from their breath.”
