“My GWP has an extremely sensitive tummy. With most foods, including raw meat on bones, she can get diarrhoea and incredible gas. Originally on Orijen (which worked, but was more expensive due to the fish ingredient), we switched to Acana with even better results again. Stool is a perfect (and natural brown) consistency, with little to no gas while just on Acana with no supplements (i.e. occasionally she gets some green tripe). Research on this brand shows the incredible amount of ingredients used to create a well-rounded diet.
If your dog has a sensitive stomach, and you also want them to get a well-rounded diet with nutrition, and you don't mind the cost, then I really recommend this feed. The more kg you buy the better the value. We have a measuring cup in the feed container, and we weighed out the recommended amount for her age and weight, and we split it morning and evening along with one tux dog biscuit a day. Keeps her in good weight and the tux gives her something to crunch her back molars into. We also supplement with cannon bones cut in half every now and then as they have limited meat on them but have high entertainment value.”
“Our super fussy dog has found something she likes, or maybe I should say I found it. She will eat it without being prompted, or worse, having to be hand fed. However, we have had these results in the past and she has suddenly decided that it's not for her, so I'm not holding my breath, but it does appear hopeful. The price doesn't matter if we can find something that wont be wasted.”
