“I've been used crystal for more than 2 month and I only tried crystal and clay.
It's easy to clean as it soaks up liquids and what I have to do is just pick up poos and clean the whole crystal once in 3 weeks.
I use 12L bag for more than 2 month and a half?.. I find it lasting long but maybe cuz I hav only one kitten and havnt used other litters before... so... It also changes colour when it soaks up liquid to yellow so.. I replace the whole litter when it start to show yellow on the top surface of crystals.. It's kinda hard to check how often your kitten go to toilet and I'm thinking of changing litter cuz of this.
It covers odors completely... kinda smells like cat urine at the end of third week if u sit in front of litter box to clean it.
The bad thing is.. my kitten took a few days to get used to crystal from clay. it seemed like he was finding it quite hard to dig and cover. but they are slightly less tracking and it think this is because the crystals are bigger and heavier.
The other thing was when my kitty step on water before they go in to litterbox or step on his own urine(like my kitty..) it sticks on paws and I saw my kitten managed to get it on his tongue and couldnt get it out cuz it stuck (or just my kitty is stupid..) but it was only one crystals and happened once in while...”
