Catit Hooded Litter Tray REGULAR / Blue Reviews

4.6 Rating 24 Reviews
We purchased this because one of our cats had started to scratch around the walls of the litter box, which isn't ideal, especially in a rented house. This has completely solved the problem and it didn't take long for the cats to adjust to it. We keep the lid up however, as the cats seem to prefer it this way (and they sometimes sleep on top of it and scratch the foam if the lid is down), but we still have great odour control.

Excellent for reducing the amount of litter kicked all over the room and containing smells - even with the door flap up. The super rounded corners make it annoying to scoop up litter though.

Finally, after 12 long years - a litter box my cat will use without having a complete fit about not going outside!

My Ragdoll cat (Buffy) thanks you for the Hooded Litter Pan which arrived on Friday morning. She is enjoying the larger unit and had no trouble getting used to something 'new'. Many thanks for the amazing service/delivery to Blenheim.

My mandalay kitten loves to throw litter about everywhere, this has saved us alot of sweeping up. It didnt take him too long to learn to use the flap door we just put him through it for first few days and he got the hang of it. Has helped with odours and is not hard to clean litter. Great buy.

Now it is put together I am having trouble taking it apart again for cleaning. And the door doesn't seal so doesn't stop all the odours but it is much much better than an open pan litter tray. It is larger than I thought - a large cat size - maybe I accidentally ordered the larger one. Anyway I guess it gives my small cat plenty of space to do her thing :) An improvement on the last one I owned (with my previous cat) is that I can clearly see inside - the door is bigger and clear. With the previous one I owned it was smaller and the door was more opaque - I accidentally picked it up once with her inside! She wasn't happy! Would definitely recommend over an open pan litter tray.

With 3 Indoor cats this litter tray is great for smell reduction, even my big fatty can get in it (it is his preferred litter tray now). Way less mess with the pine pellets too.
