“We purchased this because one of our cats had started to scratch around the walls of the litter box, which isn't ideal, especially in a rented house.
This has completely solved the problem and it didn't take long for the cats to adjust to it.
We keep the lid up however, as the cats seem to prefer it this way (and they sometimes sleep on top of it and scratch the foam if the lid is down), but we still have great odour control.”

“Now it is put together I am having trouble taking it apart again for cleaning. And the door doesn't seal so doesn't stop all the odours but it is much much better than an open pan litter tray.
It is larger than I thought - a large cat size - maybe I accidentally ordered the larger one. Anyway I guess it gives my small cat plenty of space to do her thing :)
An improvement on the last one I owned (with my previous cat) is that I can clearly see inside - the door is bigger and clear. With the previous one I owned it was smaller and the door was more opaque - I accidentally picked it up once with her inside! She wasn't happy!
Would definitely recommend over an open pan litter tray.”
