“We have a lot of difficulty with getting our cat to take tablets - if he swallows he will often throw up a few hours later. Being able to use a 'drop on' worm treatment is great but where possible we like to avoid their use as they are not good around children and can cause issues for the animal. Profender is easy to use and appears to work...our cat did not like having it applied but appeared to have no adverse reactions. We watched him carefully for 48hrs post treatment - I would not use in households with children due to needing careful handling for 24hrs post application. We will alternate with a small tablet for next worming as would prefer our cat took tablets....Profender is a good 'drop on' option though.”
