“I have used science diet for 10 years now and they love it, their coats look good on it and they are healthy. The only time they see the vet is for vaccinations and I think that's pretty good for cats that range in age from 2 years to 12 years old. One bag lasts me 5 weeks in winter and 6 weeks in summer,”
“Recently adopted a cat from the SPCA, this is the diet they keep all their animals on. Using the same food made it alot less stressful for my kitty to transition from the SPCA to my home. Not to mention the nutritional value of this product is worth every penny. I will be keeping my cat on this diet till she is 7 years old, and then moving her to Hills Science Diet Feline Mature Active Longevity. My cat is small so I give her 1/4 of a cup in the morning of this and then Hills Science Diet Adult Tender Dinner Chicken (82g) at night!”
“I currently have 4 healthy cats. I have fed my cats science diet for 20 years, from kitten to cat,to old cat. One cat reached 18, the other is still going and enjoying life and the company of younger cats - all healthily fed on Science Diet.
There is non of the mess or unpleasant smell of wet cat food. The cats love it. It works out good value if you buy larger packets. I buy the largest sack possible, usually cheapest that way (but watch the retailers prices as not always). Then split the contents to store in air tight plastic containers keeping it fresh. If you don't you let air in every time you feed the cats and it can be a bit stale at the end of the bag.
Ideally adjust the product for the age of cat, and use the hairball control version when the cats are moulting.”
