“This food was recommended by a vet to improve oral health of my cat. My cat is on it 3 months now.
I have expected biscuits to be much larger than what it is. My cat only chews approximately every fifth biscuit, rest he just swallows whole. So not really sure if it will do the job it suppose to do.
My cat doesn't like it that much either. A positive thing is that I do think it is much more tummy friendly dry food than any other dry food we tried in past. My cat would always vomit up all other dry food. With this one, he vomits only occasionally.
In summary - I am not sure about effectiveness of this product. If there is no considerable improvement of my cat's oral health by the next vet visit (so far I cant notice any improvement), I will stop using this food and go back to raw meet.”
“I have a Birman cat who is susceptible to plaque and tartar buildup. Since the vet suggested these, in three years I’ve had her my kitty hasn’t needed any teeth interventions and she likes the biscuits. I free feed them to her to supplement her half sachets of wet food in the evenings. Not the cheapest, but I’d rather feed this than risk having her need dental work”
“I have had my cat on the Hills t/d for just over a year now. I put him on it as a 2yr old after my vet mentioned he was starting to get tarter build up. A year on at his next check up the vet said his teeth were looking great so proves it really works. He loves the taste of these bikkies and doesn't mind the larger kibble.”
“Been using for couple years after vet recommended when my cats teeth had a large build up of tartar which was going to cost lots to scrape off. Saw results very quickly and never had build up again, it removed what was originally there so never needed scraping.”
