“This hidey is awesome for guinea pigs, both indoors and outdoors! Because it has two entrances, there are no issues with guinea pigs getting trapped. With no floor, the guinea pigs can hide in it and graze grass at the same time. I haven't really had it in the hotter months, so I don't know how it handles that. Igloos get heated up in Summer and can cause heatstroke in guinea pigs. I don't think this would be the same, as there is plenty of airflow. The guinea pigs love being safe in it, and being able to run through it. It is made of a durable plastic so, yes, they do chew, but they can't to the point where they will ingest it and get harmed. This is a great product and I highly recommend for guinea pigs. Don't get this for full sized rabbits, it's just too small.”
