“This feed bowl is sturdy and ceramic. It is dishwasher safe, but I'd give it a good rinse afterwards to get off any chemicals from the dasher. Unlike most bowls for people there is an inward overhanging lip (maybe, so they don't knock as much kibble out of the bowl?), and a bit of a crease around the inside bottom edge, which can be a little fiddly to get clean; I use either my fingers or a toothbrush. This size of bowl might be fine for main feeds for a baby guineapig, a small rabbit, or rat, but it's a bit small for more than one full sized small-animal to eat from comfortably. The whole ergonomic shape" thing is a bit silly- probably better to get a bowl that's an even height because you can fit more into it. It gets the job done though."”
“I use these for our guinea pigs and they are great for either food or water. Nicely weighted to prevent them being tipped over and while still easy for the guinea pigs to feed or drink from. The small size prevents them from climbing in and messing their food or water too.”
“My fault for not checking dimensions but this was a little smaller than I thought and my 2.5 kg rabbit still managed to turn it over and push down the stairs of her cage !!! Maybe the bigger one is a bit heavier. lovely design though with soft rounded edges and lovely ergonomic design.”
