Hi, the lavender pillows have microcapsule technology so you just need to give the cover a rub before bed to release the fragrance, this makes the scent last longer. It is detailed on the product online but sorry if you didn't see this. Please give them a good rub tonight and let us know how you get on. Our lavender pillows are filled with micro-capsules that are designed to release their aroma when the pillow is plumped or massaged, this is too release a scent that isn't too over powering when you are trying to sleep. If you with like a stronger scent of lavender just fluff your pillow up before you go to sleep :)
